Minimal Change Disease More Condition_symptoms

Per quelli che vogliono cambiare!!!

Carissimi soci,

Confido molto in voi e mi auguro che questo fantastico percorso iniziato assieme non abbia mai fine, spero che riuscirete a rendervi sempre più utili l’uno per l’altro e che, in un futuro non troppo lontano, siate in grado you take hold of the witness and introduce new guys in this amazing experience, to become more active part of this little family that we have given new life!

see you so well together and united during our last dinner has filled my heart with joy,
are a group, you are friends, you're a team! Now, you all have a lot of new people you can count on and I hope you will never forget, because you know that they can approach someone in a time of need, makes it smaller and lighter all our problems!

It 'really hard to convince that now no longer belong to me for this prestigious club, but I put all my hopes in you, I know you're great, I know you can do so much and I know you do !!!!!!

Already I miss you, and I can not wait to see you!
I wish you a good job and a nice share! Mando
a very big kiss to all of you

Laura

MONICA PRIORE UN ESEMPIO PER TUTTI NOI

suffer from the disease since it has five anni, ma la sua vita È «più che normale»

The company, which lasted about seven hours, was among the initiatives promoted by the organizers of Capri-Napoli, the World Cup swimming background came to the 45th edition. Once again, the girl's determination to Mesa (Brindisi) was right all the adversity. Monica found the sea very rough since the departure from the blue, which occurred shortly after 10, the starting date to the beach and Ondine is not the Neptune Club due to bad sea conditions. Conditions that have accompanied the swimmer throughout the trial, which ended shortly before 17 to Resegone beach of Meta di Sorrento, where to meet her there were so many fans and friends who have come from Apulia as well as numerous sports Campania. And parents, "to whom I dedicate this endeavor," said the girl.

21 kilometers - Monica Prior has suffered for all the 21 km that separate the island of Capri from Meta: "The beginning and the end were the most difficult moments - explains -. In the midst of many hardships but I have not stopped. I was forced to stop some temporary stomach problems but I never thought of retiring. " Getting to the bottom, however, was never her real target: " My aim is to show the world that diabetes is not an obstacle: learning to manage it can lead a normal life. My victory is to hear from parents of children with diabetes that their children, knowing what I do, find the courage to live and feel as the others. " Monica has put a lot of fighting and winning to become the athlete he is today. Five years was the only child followed by the diabetes center at Brindisi, the others were elderly people with type two diabetes. He felt marginalized, diverse and growing anger with her, Monica refused the disease and treatment, arrived at the threshold of adolescence full of desire for revenge.

SPORT AS CARE - The sport was his "cure." "In 11 years I started volleyball: the more the doctor told me that was not the right activity for me, because it burns too much sugar too fast, I am more stubborn to continue - Monica tells -. To participate in competitions, however, I should have the certificate for the competitive activity. Nobody wanted to take responsibility, I was increasingly disappointed and angry. At 17 I entered the pool. " Do not they have more output, even if to access the first race had to "cheat": "I supported the racing card for the certificate without telling your doctor of my diabetes. I have obtained and the doctor made me even compliments are not proud of having concealed the disease, but was the only way to combat prejudice. few years ago it was virtually impossible to find a diabetic who gave the go-ahead for the athletic activities, the sport was considered taboo. " Today, the certificate of Monica also leads the signing of a diabetologist and his successes have served to reassure many, demonstrating that even a diabetic can compete. And Win on his first regional competition Monica was awarded a bronze today dispute ten, twelve races against athletes a year "normal" that often remain behind her.

BUSINESS - "Competing on an equal footing of all was my revenge on the disease. Then I started thinking that I had do something for others, to give them the same strength that I found in myself. " So on July 21 of 2007 passed through the Straits of Messina, has now gone on a little sea nearly five times as long: in the eyes of many diabetics who have arrived from all over Italy to support it and celebrate it there was happy, because the company Monica is living proof that a diabetic is really like other , indeed may even dare where only the super-athletes succeed. Feel able to live a "normal" life is not so obvious in fact, for those who are struggling with daily injections of insulin, blood glucose monitoring, carbohydrate count. "There is a diabetic who happily accept la diagnosi.
